Disperatamente

Word and Silence

I hung

grace-filled

before your eyes

in the silence of your body

in the silence of your lips

​

listening to the language

of our hearts' outpouring

in the fire of our gaze

formed of myriad light splinters

by the sun

​

impotent as trees

childlike wearied

childlike experiencing

the violence of desperation.

Libravo dinnanzi ai tuoi occhi

leggiadra

nel silenzio del tuo corpo

nel silenzio della tua bocca

ascoltando le parole

del cuore

​

che uscivano a flotta nel calore

dei nostri sguardi

fatti di mille schegge

di luce

che il sole si divertiva a creare

​

rimanendo impotenti come alberi

esausti come bambini

e come loro

violentemente.
